Question:
Why should I order a skin pre-mounted when my friends say it's so easy I should mount it myself and save a few bucks? The answers are simple. When I mount the skin for you, you know it will fit with the perfect size flesh hoop and the skin will be trimmed without leaving knife marks cut into the inside of the Tension hoop, This is very important if the Tension hoop is Gold plated. If I accidentally cut the skin (believe me it happens, not very often for me, but I would just mount another one. It is much easer to install my premounted heads because the neck does not need to be removed or even loosened. The head just needs the strings removed and it installs just like a plastic head. Also, The Flesh hoop fits the neck profile and the space between the tension hooks and the rim. There is never a need to file away at the flesh hoop to make it fit.

I use a new solid square brass flesh hoop and fold the skin around the hoop just as it was done in the past. Now you can experience the vintage sound the way your banjo was made to produce! There are no modifications necessary, this Head will be a perfect fit.

All you need to do is send back, to me, your solid brass hoop I pre mounted your first head on, and the part of the skin with the "banjoseen.com" or "W. D. Miller" ink stamp on it as proof of purchase. The ink stamp will be located on the inside of the head. Please include a check or money order for $29.00, indicate which type of calfskin you want, and pack up your hoop (preferably between cardboard or in a box) so that it will not get bent in shipping. Note; I will not remount on a badly bent hoop. I will return your payment at my cost but not the hoop--that will be returned at your cost.
